The Fallston Club needs (6) members to volunteer their time and talents and become a member of the board of directors. Six positions will be filled by election at the Annual Meeting on November 9, 2023. If interested, email firstname.lastname@example.org and include a brief bio and description of talents you will bring to the position.
Pursuant to the Club’s Bylaws, prospective Board Members will be formally elected for a two-year term at the Annual Membership Meeting in November, following a tally of all collected proxy votes and live votes. All elected Board Members’ terms are effective January 1st following the Annual Membership Meeting. Officers for the 2023 season will be elected by the newly elected Board of Directors at the December 2023 meeting.
Meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Board Members who miss 3 or more meetings in a calendar year are deemed to have resigned their position on the Board. Under the Bylaws, each individual Board Member must chair or be a member of at least one standing committee. It is expected that Board Members will assist with the planning and running of a majority of the Club’s major social events, as well as attend those events, including but not limited to Opening Day, “The big event”, Family Day, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day Celebration, Movie Nights, etc.
