Swimming Instruction Levels

Fallston Club has guidelines for each level to determine where to place your child if he or she has not previously taken lessons at the Club. Instructors will test the students on the first day to make sure they are in the right level class. Each level offers a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate swimming and water safety program that teaches you, your child or other family members how to swim skillfully and safely, and think and act safely in, on and around the water. The prerequisite for each level is the successful demonstration of skills from the preceding level. The prerequisites for level 1 are that the student must be able to follow instructions in a group setting and willingly put their face in the water. Learn-to-Swim Based on a logical, six-level progression that helps swimmers of all ages and varying abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills.
